GEA, the new Ezarri collection that transforms the essence of matter into architecture

Ezarri’s new recycled glass mosaic collection explores the relationship between nature, matter, and inhabited space through a proposal inspired by geological processes and contemporary architecture.

Ezarri presents GEA, a recycled glass mosaic collection designed to blur the boundaries between architecture and nature. Inspired by the evolution of matter and the way spaces interact with their surroundings, the collection proposes a new interpretation of surfaces, understood not as simple cladding, but as a living interface capable of adding depth, texture, and character to architectural projects.

The creative concept of GEA aligns with the principles of organic architecture and the vision of mid-20th-century Californian architects who understood architecture as a natural extension of the landscape. From this perspective, the collection seeks to generate continuity between spaces, materials, and the environment, fostering a more fluid relationship between the interior, the exterior, and the water element.

The collection´s name refers to Gaia, the Greek goddess of the Earth, summarizing a proposal that finds its main source of inspiration in natural matter. This idea also gives rise to the concept "The essence of matter," the narrative axis of a collection that turns recycled glass into a surface rich in nuances, with organic textures that evolve with light and bring a sensory dimension to spaces.

"From geology to inhabited space"

GEA´s color palette revolves around the conceptual journey "From geology to inhabited space," a sequence reflecting the transformation of matter from its most primitive state to its integration into architecture and its return to the living landscape. This narrative materializes in a palette of eight soft, natural matte shades grouped into three chromatic families:

  • Mineral Origin, featuring the shades Limestone, Grit, and Dune, inspired by earth colors, sediments, and the primary tones of nature.

  • Structural Memory, formed by Chalk, Slate, and Basalt, a range of grays that evokes the solidity, texture, and character of rock transformed into architecture.

  • Living Landscape, represented by Flint and Moss, soft green tones that reconnect matter with vegetation and the landscape.

Altogether, the collection offers a balanced and timeless color range, designed to integrate naturally into contemporary architectural projects and generate visually harmonious and coherent spaces.

Available formats and colours in the GEA collection

The collection consists of eight matte shades available in 25 mm and 50 mm formats, alongside special Corner and Cove pieces designed to resolve transitions between vertical and horizontal surfaces and provide visual continuity to projects. Furthermore, it features the Safe Steps R11 anti-slip finish as standard, combining maximum safety and comfort in wet spaces such as swimming pools, wellness areas, sports facilities, or outdoor areas. This solution is especially suitable for high-traffic environments, where safety is just as important as the aesthetic integration of materials.

GEA is also available in Hexa format, expanding its compositional possibilities and allowing for the creation of surfaces with an even stronger architectural identity.

100% Recycled Glass

Like all Ezarri solutions, GEA is manufactured entirely from recycled glass and is presented using the exclusive JointPoint® paneling system. This technology simplifies installation and optimizes on-site execution times. Additionally, it allows 92% of the mosaic surface to remain in direct contact with the adhesive, providing a grip capacity far superior to other mosaic installation systems. Sustainability, therefore, is not positioned as an added value, but as the starting point of the entire collection.

GEA Collection Presentation

We unveiled GEA for the first time at Cersaie 2026, held in Bologna from 21 to 25 September. A recycled-glass mosaic collection featuring eight matte tones inspired by mineral matter, designed to create harmonious transitions between the pool basin, pool surrounds and outdoor paving, enhancing aesthetic continuity and architectural integration.

Following this initial launch, we will present GEA in person once again at Piscine Global Europe, taking place in Lyon from 17 to 20 November. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the full collection at one of the leading international events for the swimming pool industry.
