How to cut the Ezarri mosaic

In the video we have made you can see in detail how easy it is to cut the Ezarri mosaic and the tools to use.

There are two types of tool to cut the Ezarri mosaic:

  -Grinder

  -Electric cutter

In both cases it is essential to choose the right disc:

         -For the grinder:

               Diamond cutting disc ∅115mm – ref. MTEN 3

               Grinding disc – ref. H009

         -For the electric cutter:

               Diamond disc for hard material.

How to cut the Ezarri mosaic with a grinder

1-We fit the cutting disc – ref. MTEN 3 – in the grinder. Don’t forget to use the safety equipment: glasses + gloves + earplugs

2-We mark the cut we want to make so as not to lose the reference

3-On a work table with a slot, we cut the Ezarri mosaic of whatever format: 25, 36 or 50mm An important detail, which can be seen in the video, is that the mosaic must be ground from the side and not from above.

How to cut the Ezarri mosaic with an electric cutter

1-We will follow the same steps as with the grinder:
         -Safety equipment
         -marking the material
         -cutting

How to rough down the Ezarri mosaic

1-We fit the grinding disc – ref. H009. Don’t forget to use the safety equipment: glasses + gloves + earplugs

2-We mark the area that must be removed from the mosaic

2-We support the grinder against the table and the pieces are ground until the desired result is obtained.

How to cut the special pieces: Corner and Cove

We recommend not cutting these types of piece but rather paring them, since it is a safer alternative with which optimal results can be obtained:

1-We fit the grinding disc – ref. H009. Don’t forget to use the safety equipment: glasses + gloves + earplugs

2-We mark the area that must be removed from the mosaic/special piece

2-We support the grinder against the table and the pieces are pared until the desired result is obtained.
